初一第十單元
I.首先復習第九單元的內容。根據圖片內容和所給的中文寫出英文句子。
老師說：“今天是星期一，我班來了兩位新同學，他們是美國人。名叫Lucy和Lily，是雙胞胎。韓梅梅，請你照顧一下他們。”
韓梅梅說：“好的，高老師”她對雙胞胎說：“請走這邊。”并問：“你們幾歲了？你們知道坐在哪一排嗎？”
雙胞胎回答：“知道，我們坐在第四排，我們倆個坐在同一排，謝謝你韓梅梅。順便問一下，廁所在哪兒？”

II.進入第十單元的學習。
1.剛才復習中的最后一句話：“廁所在哪兒？”Where is the toilet ? 就是本單元講的重點句型。
這個句型是口語中最常用的句型之一。它可以用單數形式，也可以用復數形式。可以問人也可以問物。
例如：單數形式： Where is the pen ? 那支鋼筆哪去了？
Where is my bike ? 我的自行車哪兒去了？
復數形式： Where are the keys ? 那些鑰匙哪去了？
Where are those cars ? 那些小汽車呢？
單數形式： Where is Miss Gao ? 高老師呢？
Where is your mother ? 你媽媽哪去了？
復數形式： Where are the students of Class One ? 一班的學生哪去了？
Where are they ? 他們呢？
2.在練習這個句型之前，首先學習表示位置的幾個介詞及由這些介詞構成的短語。
on 在……上面 under 在……下面 in 在……里面 near 在……附近
behind 在……后面 in front of 在……前面

②A : Where is the bag ?
B : It is on the chair .
A : Is it under the chair?

剛才的練習只是用Where引導的特殊疑問句，所有的回答都是直接說出某人或某物的位置。
下面講的是特殊疑問句與一般疑問句結合起來提問，一般疑問句在此處有提示對方的意義。
例如：

B : Is it in your bag ? B : 在你的書包里嗎？
A : No , it isn’t . A : 沒有。
B : Is it in your desk ? B : 在你的書桌里嗎？

2.除此之外，本單元還出現了以who引導的特殊疑問句型。

以上兩組對話有所不同。在第一組對話中Is it Kate ? 而在第二組對話中改成：
The girl in hat ? 其實兩句的中文意思相似，都是表示提示的形式提出問題。第一組中的
Is it Kate譯為：“是凱特嗎？”第二組的被譯為：“是戴帽子的那個女孩嗎？”
The girl in hat ? 這不是一個句子，而是一個短語，in hat是介詞短語做定語。表示戴著
帽子的那個女孩。請看下面的幾個介詞短語做定語的例子。
①The girl in red穿著紅衣服的那個女孩。
②The boy on the black bike騎著黑色自行車的那個男孩。
③The man in the white car .在白色小汽車里的那個人。

3.在第十單元之中，應該記住以下單詞和詞組：

這里面出現了一個詞“the”的用法。這個詞叫冠詞。在英語里面共有三個冠詞。
a , an和the。前兩個被稱為不定冠詞，the則被稱為定冠詞。這三個詞在英語語法書里
非常活躍，而且用法也很復雜。但我們只掌握它們的基本用法即可。下面講一下定冠
詞the的最基本用法。
1.世界獨一無二的名詞前一般要用the。例如：the moon , the earth , the sun .（月亮，
地球，太陽）
2.當上文提到的人或物在下文中再次出現時，要在這個人或在這個物的名詞前加the。

例如：There is a girl in the room . girl is reading a book .(房間里有個小女孩，這個
女孩正在看書)。

3.說話雙方都知道的人或物前要用the。例如：Open window please .

4.the有時相當于this , that , these , those .例如：Look at books .(你看這些書)
