詞匯辨析：learned learnt
Learnt和learned都是動詞learn的過去式和過去分詞形式。兩者都是正確的，learned在美式英語和英式英語中都可以使用，但learnt在英式英語中使用更多。
We learned the news at about three o'clock.
我們在大約3點的時候學習了新聞。
They learnt the train times by heart.
他憑記憶得知了火車時間表。

Learned(but not learnt) is also an adjective,pronounced as two syllables (lrn|d) rather than the one syllable verb (lnt or lnd). The adjective,when said of a person,means 'having acquired much knowledge through study'. It can also be used of objects,meaning 'showing,requiring,or characterized by learning; scholarly'.
Learned(learnt不是)也是一個形容詞,其發音為兩個音節(lrn |d)而不是一個音節(lnt或lnd)。Learned作形容詞形容人時,表示：通過學習研究獲得了很多知識，即“學識淵博的”。Learned也可以修飾物品,這意味著“具有學術特點的;學術上的”。
She is a learned and respected teacher.
